Well im starting to lose my hope. After doing over 175 fate in Central Shroud, i still havnt got the drop, Atma of the maiden. Sometimes i go to Another area to farm atmas and usually i get them under 50 fate, but this seem impossible. My question is: Is there more player who done over 175 fate just to get nothing. Hour after hour, just nothing.Here's all they've changed in 3.0: Atma drop rate has been increased. Amount of mobs per animus book has been reduced from 10 to 3. Alexandrite maps drop 5 alexandrite and the drop rate from fates has been increased. The amount of light given by trials has been doubled (4x as much as when it was released)

The drop rate is apparently around 20-25% now, but RNG is still RNG. As long as you have the quest active that tells you what atma drops in what region, you're good. I'm honestly more astounded you're willing to go through the abominations known as Books again— the worst thing the devs have ever put into ffxiv. Worse than Eureka, even.That's a 6 dex difference which, in the long run, doesn't make a noticeable difference in damage for Ninja. All races have a maximum of 6 stat point difference between the "best" and the "worst". Atma is anything BUT consistent. It's such a joke of a system that merely getting my first atma, Yoshimitsu Atma, felt like a massive disappointment for all the effort put in. Let me explain to you in brief what exactly is Atma: It's a no skill, pure luck based game of chance. That's it.Sadly, it's kinda hard to gain value from this step of relic. With the wildly varying levels in each zone, it's impractical to attempt spiritbonding. Maybe a patch to fix this crap? Maybe instead of one shard make it a soul crystal that builds from number of fates.
